The aim of the study was to demonstrate that smart technology, built from commonly-available components, can be used to control energy use with a building, with investigating, analyse and evaluate the benefits of IoT in a smart building, 

Also, to design and build a simulation of a smart building using packet tracer and a physical small building using dollhouse to test the scenario of the smart building based on IoT to investigating the impact of the smart building in energy use comparing to a normal building.
