Project title: Using IOT in a data centre environment

The purpose of this project was to carry out research on a typical data centre and its associated topics. From this, the aim was to identify ways of improving energy consumption by designing, developing and implementing an IoT system to carry out the following observations that can be made.
– When are the peak load times and could cooling be reduced at these times to save energy?
– Are there any hotspots in the room that are causing an unnecessary build-up of heat?
– Is the humidity of the place staying consistent, therefore reducing the chance of static shock?
– Does any of the equipment require maintenance due to a blocked filter or other overheating issues?
