Project title: Investigation into the Stiffness and Damping of Vehicle Tyres
Project Overview
Investigating the differences in tyre inflation pressures and their affects on the stiffness and damping characteristics. This was achieved by conducting a set of physical tests on a tyre used in the Sports 2000 championship. In achieving this, graphical data was produced to visually see the progressive changes that an increase of inflation pressure has on tyre.

I have a passion for Motorsport and an interest in automotive engineering.

Great amount of facilities with passionate and knowledgeable lecturing staff.
What are you future plans?
To get stuck in, gaining more ‘Pit lane’ experience and continuing to expand knowledge not just in my interest in data analysis and tyre dynamics. Aiming to be apart of an international race team/ manufacturer.
